Modern industry is full of electronic devices that control voltage, current, and frequency. These electronic devices often operate by turning on and off at different rates, causing pulsations on the power line, which can cause the normal sine wave to become distorted – harmonics are a result of this distortion. This course will cover the frequency; name and sequence; problems associated; and method of detecting and dealing with harmonic problems. Supplemental handouts included in cost of course.
