Course Description
This course provides participants with a chance to become familiar with ampacity and the tables in NEC Article 310 and how to properly apply correction and adjustment factors. Once students have appropriately applied the derating values, they will work on selecting the correct wire size, type, ampacity, temperature, and voltage rating. This course will also cover a discussion on the importance of voltage drop on new installations and how to calculate for it. Supplemental handouts included in cost of course.
