Basic Electrical Math

Course Description

This course will guide participants through an introduction to basic math used by electricians. Students will learn how to understand the various math functions needed to complete calculations necessary for the safe, acceptable, and NEC compliant installation of electrical equipment and wiring systems. Supplemental handouts included in cost of course.

REQUIRED FOR CLASS: In an effort to start preparing students for the state exam, cell phones will not be allowed in this class – all participants must bring a scientific calculator with them so that they begin to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to perform calculations without the use of their cell phone (recommended by instructor: Texas Instruments TI-30Xa Scientific Calculator)
